About This Project

A waterfront frontage on Hood Canal. Hold the grade, keep the view open, and give the owners a yard that stays low-maintenance through a wet winter.

What we built

• Curved cast-in-place concrete retaining and seat wall with a smooth architectural finish
• Stone-veneer pillars with lighted caps, carrying horizontal slat fencing kept low to preserve the water view
• Artificial turf lawn with a built-in putting green
• Planting beds with ornamental grasses and evergreen screening
• Concrete driveway apron and walkway, sloped to drain away from the house and the wall
